The Isle of Wight · Smithfield · Windsor Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of business and professional men and women who have joined together for the purpose of promoting the civic, commercial and industrial progress of our community. The Chamber has a major impact on the economic well being of our community.

There are two primary functions of our Chamber of Commerce:

  • To act as a unified voice for businesses and professionals and translate into action the group of thinking of the membership; and
  • As a community organization, to render specific services to the members and to the general public.

Objectives of the Chamber

  • To coordinate the efforts of commerce, industry and the professions in maintaining and strengthening a sound and healthy business climate in Isle of Wight County.
  • To sponsor an aggressive strategic plan and stimulate activities that will provide for full development of our human and economic resources.
  • To provide creative business leadership and effective coordination of all interested parties in solving community problems and in initiating constructive community action.
