About the Chamber

The Isle of Wight · Smithfield · Windsor Chamber of Commerce is voluntary organization of business and professional men and women who have joined together for the purpose of promoting the civic, commercial and industrial progress of our community. The Chamber has a major impact on the economic well being of our community. 

How It Operates:

The Board of Directors is the policy-making body of the Chamber of Commerce. Its members represent the business and professional leadership of the community. The Board consists of 15 members. The President presides over monthly meetings of the Board. Board of Directors 2009 - 2010

Executive Committee:

The Executive Committee consists of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Executive Director. It exercises the powers of the Board between those times when board meetings are held.

 

Committees:

A committee system is the most effective means of harnessing energies and abilities of volunteer workers. Committees are responsible to the Board of Directors.
